Doug Funnie
Doug Funnie is the title character of the Nickelodeon/Disney animated series "Doug," depicted as an 11-year-old (later 12) boy who wants to fit in but often stands out due to his vivid imagination and strong sense of right and wrong. He is shy, insecure, and self-conscious, yet he possesses talents in writing, drawing, and playing the banjo. Doug narrates every episode and keeps a journal where he records his experiences, which range from learning to dance to dealing with bullies like Roger Klotz. His alter ego, Quailman, is inspired by childhood home movies where he and his friends posed as superheroes. Doug has a crush on his classmate Patti Mayonnaise and is often seen with his dog Porkchop and his best friend Skeeter.
