Woody and Jessie

Woody is the beloved, vintage pull-string cowboy doll and former leader of Andy Davis's toy collection, known for his role as a dependable sheriff who ensures no toy gets left behind. As Andy's favorite toy since kindergarten, Woody's leadership is challenged when Buzz Lightyear arrives, but he ultimately forms a close friendship with him. Jessie, a spirited yodeling cowgirl doll from the 1950s, was originally part of Woody's Roundup gang and owned by a girl named Emily; she initially resents Woody for his ownership but later bonds with him after being rescued from being shipped to Japan.
