Dumb and Dumber

Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne are the titular, dimwitted best friends and roommates from the 1994 comedy film Dumb and Dumber, portrayed by Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels respectively. Lloyd, a cheerful yet self-absorbed limo driver with a chipped tooth, becomes infatuated with a wealthy passenger, Mary Swanson, after she leaves her briefcase at the airport. Unaware it contains ransom money, he convinces his equally clueless friend Harry, a dog groomer, to join him on a chaotic road trip to Aspen, Colorado, to return the briefcase. Their journey is filled with slapstick mishaps, accidental confrontations with criminals, and gross-out humor, all while showcasing their surprisingly loyal and kind-hearted bond despite their idiocy.
