Danny & Sandy

Danny Zuko is the rebellious leader of the T-Birds greaser gang at Rydell High, while Sandy Olsson is a sweet, naive Australian transfer student who initially associates with the Pink Ladies. After falling in love during a summer fling, their relationship becomes complicated by high school social pressures, leading Danny to feign indifference to protect his "cool" image and Sandy to feel out of place among his friends. Ultimately, both characters undergo significant transformations—Danny adopting a preppy look and Sandy donning a leather jacket—to bridge their differences and reunite by graduation.
