Steve Zissou
Steve Zissou is a self-absorbed, vain, and sarcastic world-renowned oceanographer and documentarian, portrayed by Bill Murray, who is struggling to maintain relevance after his latest film fails to garner acclaim. Following the death of his closest friend and collaborator, Esteban du Plantier, who was killed by a mysterious creature Zissou dubs the Jaguar Shark, he embarks on a perilous expedition for revenge, funded by a man claiming to be his long-lost son, Ned Plimpton.
