Steven Universe
Steven Universe, the central protagonist of an animated series bearing the same name and its subsequent epilogue series titled Steven Universe Future, is a creation of Rebecca Sugar. Zach Callison provides Steven's voice, who is depicted as a blend between a regular human being and Gem lineage. Gems are portrayed as alien beings that exist in the form of magical gemstones radiating light bodies. As the offspring of Greg Universe, a human musician, and Rose Quartz, the former leader of Crystal Gems, Steven houses his mother’s pink pentagonal-embedded gemstone in his navel, enabling him to harness an array of magical abilities encompassing summoning his mother's shield, shapeshifting, and healing powers. Despite initial challenges with mastering his Gem powers, Steven is characterized as being caring, protective, brave, gentle, and forgiving, often serving as the heart of Crystal Gems team while grappling with living up to his mother’s legacy.
