Sonya Blade

Sonya Blade is a United States Special Forces officer and a founding character in the Mortal Kombat franchise, making her video game debut in the original 1992 arcade title as the series' first female playable fighter. Created by Ed Boon to broaden the roster beyond male combatants, she is depicted as a stern, disciplined General who commands the Outer World Investigation Agency (OIA) and primarily seeks to capture her archenemy, Kano, leader of the Black Dragon syndicate.
