Snake Plissken
Snake Plissken, portrayed by Kurt Russell, is a legendary antihero and former U.S. Army Lieutenant who served in the Special Forces Unit Black Light during a fictional World War III, earning two Purple Hearts and becoming the youngest soldier decorated by the President for bravery in Leningrad and Siberia. After being betrayed by the government—losing his left eye in a ruse de guerre and witnessing his parents' deaths during a failed rescue attempt—he turned to a life of crime, eventually robbing the Federal Reserve and being sentenced to life imprisonment on the anarchic, walled-off island of Manhattan.
