O-Ren Ishii
O-Ren Ishii is the main antagonist in Quentin Tarantino's 2003 film Kill Bill: Volume 1, portrayed by Lucy Liu, and a former member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (DeVAS) known by her codename "Cottonmouth". Born on an American-Japanese military base to a Japanese-American father and a Chinese mother, her life was irrevocably altered at age nine when she witnessed the brutal murder of her parents by the Yakuza boss Boss Matsumoto, an event that fueled her quest for revenge.
