Jack Skellington

Jack Skellington is the undead "Pumpkin King" of Halloween Town, a fantastical realm centered entirely on the holiday, and the main protagonist of Tim Burton's 1993 stop-motion film The Nightmare Before Christmas. As a tall, slender skeleton, he is immortal and possesses near-invincibility, able to remove and reattach body parts like his head or ribs without harm, often for comic effect. He is revered by the residents of Halloween Town for his role in orchestrating the annual Halloween celebration, scaring people in the real world with innocent fun, and is considered a patron spirit on par with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
