Jackie Moon

Jackie Moon, the main character from the 2008 film Semi-Pro is the eccentric owner, coach, and star player of the Flint Michigan Tropics. An American Basketball Association(ABA) team with poor performance, Moon uses profits from his one-hit wonder song "Love Me Sexy" to buy the team with aspirations of leading them into the NBA. His unconventional methods such as wrestling a bear during halftime shows aim to boost attendance and morale, reflecting his dedication to the team and the city of Flint.
