Brand Walsh
Brandon Walsh, nicknamed "Brand," is the deuteragonist of the 1985 film The Goonies, portrayed by Josh Brolin in his film debut. He is a tall, muscular sixteen-year-old high school student and the older brother of the group's leader, Mikey Walsh, whom he is protective of, often acting as a responsible figure despite their sometimes strained sibling relationship. Brand is characterized as strong, responsible, and kind, with a close bond to his younger brother and a developing romantic interest in Andy, the group's cheerleader. He is often seen wearing a red bandana, a sleeveless gray shirt under a dark blue hoodie, gray sweatpants with blue shorts, and Nike Vandal Supreme shoes.
