Bobby Boucher Jr., portrayed by Adam Sandler, is the titular protagonist of the 1998 sports comedy The Waterboy, a socially inept and stuttering water boy for the fictional University of Louisiana Cougars who becomes a star linebacker for the struggling South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs after channeling his hidden anger issues into exceptional tackling prowess.
